This LONG OUT OF PRINT European Antiquarian auction catalogue lists and describes 152 Lots, MOST of which appear to be illustrated, of a fabulous collection of Toy Locomotives and Rolling Stock ! Items include -- Gauge 1 and 0 electric, spirit-fired steam, gas-fired steam, locomotives, coal cars and various types of coaches.
Makers include -- Aster, Fulgurex, Beck, Wilag, J + M Models, Gebauer, Hubner, Eurotrain, Elettren, among OTHERS!
DOUBLE WOWSERS! I have been interested in model trains since my childhood -- at Christmas is when my Dad would bring them out, they had train sounds, smoke, lights and the setup was kewlio -- when we visited relatives I would marvel at the large antique colorful tin trains they displayed. I still have many model trains, accessories and Lionel catalogues and, when the spirit moves me, I may list them at oline auction. Most of these really exceptionally detailed models appear to be of German trains or manufacture. A lot of them state some maker name for Fulgurex, which I assume is the brand name?? Details given for each include fittings, lamps, model #, colors used, etc. BOY, would I like to have some of these gems! This is a really fabulously well-illustrated addition to your reference library and would be a unequaled source for many new additions, in textual information as well as pics, to your own personal computer interactive relational database of highly collectible model railroad enthusiast treasures.
